Wool Shepherd's Sling
This green and gray sling is made of wool rug yarn and measures 24 inches. The pouch is warped with 4 strands of yarn divided into two groups of two strands. These pairs of strands are folded in half. The folded portions of the two groups are made to overlap each other, and are placed on a simple frame loom. This way a pouch with eight warps is made with only four strands, and there are no extra strands beyond what are used for the 4-strand braided cords.
